as a perpetual fund co-managed by Chimera and Alpha Wave Global
(previously “Falcon Edge Capital"). The Fund, which achieved a first close
of US$ 2 billion, leverages the resources and relationships of both Chimera and
Alpha Wave Global, and continuing to build on the successful collaboration
between the two companies.The Fund has a global mandate, with a primary focus on the US, Canada,
UK, EU, and Australia, and will seek to identify situations and themes where
capital shortages or idiosyncratic reasons result in attractive investment
prospects. The primary objective is to generate current income for
investors seeking interest rate protected yield, through originating or
participating in private, senior secured, floating rate loans for companies
looking for credit solutions.
